About Naranjan Naidoo
It is said that Naranjan R. Naidoo is the name of Africa in The Middle East. Hailing from the famous K. C. Naidoo family, which originates from South India (Pondicherry), however arriving in the late 1800 to South Africa, Naranjan’s grandfather established his roots very clearly in Durban, South Africa, commencing the business empire that originated in 1900, which was a legacy that now spreads many parts of the world.
Due to political upheavals of the apartheid regime, the Naidoo family was forced to leave South Africa in the early 1960’s for The United Kingdom. Through sheer determination, courage, and hard work, the late Mr. R. Naidoo established his business and his family in the UK. After his demise in 1983, Naranjan Naidoo took the reigns and the “rest is history”.
Naranjan R. Naidoo has been involved in substantial transactions on a global basis between South Africa and many parts of the world. His focus is substantial deals between Governments and major industries in The Middle East and Africa, as well as India and China.
Naranjan Naidoo, with his global headquarters in Dubai, UAE under his brand name “GULF PACIFIC” focus their attention in transactions involving Minerals, Metals, Mining and Energy as its core competence, however also have interests in property and private equity.
With very close ties within the South African Government as well as other African Governments, together with relationships with the Ruling Families of The Middle East, Naranjan has been in the center of substantial transactions between The Gulf and Africa.
Using the Middle East as his springboard, Naranjan has cultivated substantial interests and transaction-flow between Africa, India and China. Married, with 2 children - his daughter has commenced a career in business and his son is in his final year in university in his first degree, and will be embarking on to his MBA next year - Naranjan commutes between South Africa, Dubai and London on a monthly basis.
Naranjan R. Naidoo is also involved with the United Nations Global Compact, The World Economic Forum and various humanitarian initiatives that surround Africa such as the Nelson Mandela Foundation encompassing The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. It is the dream of both Naranjan and his wife to be fully involved in global humanitarian initiatives in a justice of life program.
Approaching the age of 51, Naranjan Naidoo tries to maintain a balance of health, mind and body, with his business and his family. Naranjan is committed to his global view of trade from Africa in order to eradicate poverty through economic process.
